Inspired by Sailor Sperry's 1935 Long Island Boat Shoes, our Goodyear welted Boat Shoes extend his vision of durable, comfortable footwear with exceptional grip and traction to be able to move swiftly through tough rides.

 

It is handcrafted with the highest quality full-grain leather, durable rubber outsoles, and cushioned genuine leather insoles.

 

Evolving from practical yachtsmen's footwear to a staple for US Marines, and now a modern style essential, these Boat Shoes are perfect for all seasons. Pair with rolled-up chinos and a white shirt for a classic look, or jeans and a linen shirt for a rugged style. Step confidently into any adventure with their relaxed look and premium comfort.

·   5 0z (2mm) thick waxed full-grain buffalo leather upper.

·   3 0z (1.4mm) thick leather lining.

·   10 Oz (4mm) thick full vegetable-tanned midsole.

·   7 Oz (3mm) thick full vegetable-tanned handmade leather welt.

·   Steel Shank for durability and strength.

·   100% natural Cork footbed for extra comfort.

·   Full rubber commando sole with stacked leather heels.

·   Damping Latex memory foam + Genuine Leather insole.

·   Full-grain Leather Laces

Beautiful

Loved the quality, feel and finish of the shoes. My friends could not believe the price is so reasonable for such a beautiful product

The good, the bad and the ugly

The good: beautiful shoe made with great leathers

The bad: the footbed is already breaking down after one week. All I've worn them for is to go to the store. They're boat shoes. I didn't even get on a boat

The ugly: Craft and Glory initially said they were aware of the issue I was having and were working to resolve it. I responded with "what does that mean for me". They did not reply. Two days pass and I reach back out and now they're saying it's perfectly normal.

They're great looking shoes. They're not expensive. The fit is perfect. The communication was great up until two days ago (still wasn't horrible). I just do not believe that this footbed will last a year. I'll have to have it replaced. I'm positive after that these will last a very long time, but considering the initial cost along with a rebuild in a year I could have purchased an oak street or Grant Stone loafer, which would have lasted me probably my entire life

The belt I purchased from Craft and Glory is awesome.

It's not letting me post a pic or I'd share it to show everyone what could happen.

Only 3% of hides in the world are eligible to be graded as full grain leather which are suitable for natural aniline finish. Just like natural marble or real wood you are able to see natural grains, marks and texture unique to that very skin.
