Wanted to get my hands on a leather jacket since forever. So so happy that I bought this one. Looks dapper. Doesn’t disappoint in any way. You'll love it. Blind investment.
I had high hopes for this pair, especially after waiting almost 5 weeks for delivery. I was okay with the delay because I assumed the extra time meant better quality checks and attention to detail. But sadly, that wasn’t the case.
The shoe came with white patches, excessive glue over the sole stitching and a chipped leather outsole right in the front of left shoe something that should’ve been caught before shipping. This really affected the overall look and feel of the shoes.
For the price and wait time, I expected better. Hope the brand takes this feedback seriously and improves their finishing and quality control.
Handcrafted full grain leather boots in beautiful raven black color. The design is sharp and the built is sturdy. In my opinion it is an investment not an expense. From a shoe lover to boot lover ,i would like to wear them everywhere i go , with jeans with chinos , and with formal pants too.The waiting period is worth it.Thanks team C&G
I'm a big fan of the saddle tan leather, so I was glad they made sneakers from the same leather. They really turned out much better then expected. They fit well and comfy. Glad I made the purchase
First C&G purchase. The shoe construction, build quality and top leather quality stands out the moment I opened the box.
First time seeing a box in wood!
The shoes are slightly heavier than regular shoes largely owing to a lot of leather and the heavy argentine rubber sole.
But super comfortable to wear, does not feel heavy.
Breaking in takes time. I wore 8 hrs on first day (i put simple white bandage tape on the back of ankles and no show bite!). Will take a couple more such to break it in.
Overall, very happy with the purchase. Glad a few companies are focusing on quality and build quality.
I chose the Vintage brown Kiltie to go with my Saddle tan boots to create a subtle contrast in color and texture. It give more traditional workwear personality to the boots. It also adds to the functionality by protecting the tongue from scratches especially from the speed hook bottoms.
I loved the combination of Vintage Brown & white sole. It looks beautiful & unique. Quality & craftmanship is top notch. Would highly recommend it!
I’ve never owned a proper pair of boots before, so I didn’t know what to expect — but the Craft & Glory Chicago Chelsea Boots completely exceeded every expectation. From the moment I opened the box, the quality was obvious. The leather feels thick and premium, the stitching is flawless, and they have this rich, rugged look that still feels refined.
I went with the Vintage Brown color, and it’s absolutely beautiful — photos honestly don’t do it justice. The fit was surprisingly comfortable right out of the box. I was expecting a tough break-in period, but the inner lining and cushioning made the transition super easy.
What impressed me most is how sturdy they feel without being heavy or clunky. I wore them all day during a city outing, and not only did I get compliments, but my feet weren’t sore at all. The grip is solid too, even on slick pavement.
As a first-time boot buyer, I can confidently say: these boots have set the bar high. I’m already looking at a second pair in black.
Highly recommend for anyone on the fence — totally worth it!
This is my first belt from C&G and my fifth product purchased. They are sturdy & well-built. They will last for ages, I feel. One of the best belts I have in my collection till date...
I have now used this show repeatedly for a month. The natural grain, the follicle bumps and the sheer craftsmanship on these shoes is mind-blowing being GYW at this price point and overall look seems impossible. I don't understand how they are doing this without incurring losses. I was dreading the break-in period for the shoe and wore it continuously for the month but it felt like a breeze after a week or so.
I was looking at these boots for about a month and jumped at the chance to buy them when they were on sale. They came in adequate time for hand made boots halfway across the world. The sizing was tricky being EU men sizes (I'm an American woman) but I figured it out and they fit perfectly out of the box, even for my wide feet. I've only had them for about a week but the good year welt and lack of a fabric lining is promising for a long lasting boot on top of that the thick buffalo hide ,all though hard to break in, will last longer than a cow hide. The one thing I wish they'd do differently is use a leather insole rather than the cheap feeling thin foam one that came in the boot, luckily it's just kinda in there so I can easily replace it.
After usage of 5 months I m writing this review
1. Leather : Premium
2. Design: Vintage
3. Look and feel : Top notch and Un matched to any brand
4. Value for Money: Can be concluded after prolonged usage as handsome money is paid.
5. Scope of improvement: Centre portion of leather seems to be exposed more and having tendancy of Crack after prolonged usage, hence this portion can be cut in half circle
design.
6. Marked portion can be cut / designed in a way so it will not band after seating hence tear/wear chance can be avoided.
These boots are beautiful. I bought them for walking around town, as I got tired of throwing away shoes after 2 years when the soles wear out. A bit more formal (Rangers probably would have been a better casual style), but I prefer a sleeker silhouette. The leather feels thick and sturdy, and the construction is top notch - not a stitch out of place. Laces, hardware, insoles, etc. all feel up to the job. I probably could have gone down a half size from my sneaker size, but took their advice after sending me a drawing of my feet - I could have not done a great job with the foot outline, though. The boot bag and additional lace choice (light brown) were a nice choice, and the stock foam/leather combo insoles are very comfortable.
A few cons:
- Break-in took me at least a month of daily wear (30 mins - 1 hour walking per day). The heel counter caused pretty serious heel pain and blistering while walking, but now they are extremely comfortable.
- The colour (saddle tan) doesn't match the photos. It is really a red-brown (similar to Chromexcel Color #8) vs the medium brown in the photos
- The sole material wears extremely fast when walking on concrete sidewalks, and the heel is very thin (part of the style). Within a month I was already down to the heelstack at the very back of the heel. I have already replaced it with a new heel (just over a month in), which is taller and replaces one of the leather layers in the heel stack. It also makes the boots a bit more comfortable.
- The optional veg tanned leather insoles are comfortable, providing a firm feel underfoot (which I like), but were unbearably squeeky with every step, so I reverted back to the foam-backed insoles that are much quieter.
Thanks guys! Very good at first quick wearing, good toe and heel boxes, nice clean stitching. Almost at-per my Iron Rangers. Just, I think, IR has an extra veg-tanned midsole. Will see, how this holds long run, if any close to the IR.
Though the boots are a bit stiff on is 2nd day of use, I'm already getting used to it. Quality seem to be very good for its price point. It looks great as well. The fit runs just a tad large so getting your exact size in leather shoes seems to be just right and will allow you a bit of wiggle room. I imagine this developing patina and looking a lot better with time.
I use this shoe for daily work wear. The leather coating chipped off within 2 weeks. Shoe is badly wrinkled within a few months. Sole lifted off in 3-4 months. Do not recommend if you intend to walk outdoor for long. Overall low value for the high price point.
Loved the styling and the shade of saddle tan! The loafers are vey comfortable to wear and can go with any occasion casual or formal!
Belgian loafers are a beautiful blend of modern yet hold a vintage classic mens look. Just keep in mind to go for half shorter than your regular size. I wear 7 as my regular size, but in these 6.5 is the right fit.
I liked the jacket . It's good to wear and feels premiums. I got positive responses from my colleages and friends. Thanks team, will continue shopping in the future.
Absolutely impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of the boots, true to their brand name. I ordered mine in custom size UK 5.5 and it was a breeze. The boots fit beautifully right out of the box, with solid construction and premium leather that feels built to last. One minor issue was that 2 of the eyelets seems to snag at the laces but it's an easy fix. If you are on the fence, go for it- you,ll be glad you did.
I got the Texas wallet recently and I quite love it! I requested for a customization - instead of the coin slot on the right side of the wallet I opted to get 3 more card slots making the left and right side identical. While perhaps this may look less interesting visually than having a coin slot, it's more practical for me.
I was also surprised to get the wallet so quickly. I placed the order on April 3rd and got it in my hands (in Bangalore) by April 11th. Sharing some pictures. It is truly a looker!
Craft and glory product is very good.. I personally like the quality of the product The quality of the product is very good.. leather quality is very very good
The feel and the quality of the product is very good. Good craftmanship too. Since they start making the item once they receive the order, the delivery takes some time. The timely message from the team helped.
I like the style and it’s well hand crafted and goes well with baggy pants but the of shoe is too damn sharp and hard it keep scratching while walking I only wore it for 1H
Great amazing boots!!!! It is a true craftsmanship, with one of a kind combat boots with lot of detailing as well as ultimate durability. The boots are very, very comfortable made of full grain leather, outstanding rubber sole with amazing traction. Ultimate value for money. What an incredible masterpiece. Just go for it!!!!!
