Inspired by the jump boots worn by U.S. paratroopers during the Second World War, the Helljumper is our interpretation of one of the most iconic military boots ever produced.

Built on the Craft & Glory Munson Last and available in both 8-inch and 11-inch heights, the Helljumper combines period-correct aesthetics with the durability and craftsmanship expected of a modern heritage boot. Every detail - from the true brogue toe cap and diagonal ankle support stitching to the nitrile rubber half sole and Trooper heel - draws inspiration from the footwear that accompanied airborne troops into some of history’s most demanding combat environments.

Unlike many modern reproductions, the Helljumper is built using premium full-grain water buffalo leather, a substantial vegetable-tanned leather foundation, and a fully resoleable 270° Goodyear welt construction. The result is a boot that honors the originals while delivering the longevity, comfort, and serviceability expected by today’s wearer.

A classic russet-inspired leather reminiscent of the jump boots worn by Allied airborne forces during the Second World War. As it ages, it develops a rich depth of color and patina unique to every pair.

Materials:

  • Leather:1.8mm to 2.0mm full-grain waxed water buffalo leather

  • Lining: Vamp lined with 0.8mm to 1.0mm goatskin lining

  • Insole: 4.0mm+ vegetable tanned leather

  • Midsole: 4.0mm+ vegetable tanned leather

  • Welt: 270 degree ~3.0mm vegetable tanned leather flat welt

  • Steel shank for durability and strength.

  • 100% natural cork footbed for extra comfort.

  • Outsole: Period-Correct Nitrile Rubber Half Sole

  • Heel: Period-Correct Trooper Heel

Sock Liner/Insert

  • 2.0mm EVA foam topped with genuine leather (standard)

  • Additional Purchase: Vegetable tanned leather insert ~2.0mm thick

Laces:

  • 1 pair brown flat waxed cotton laces + 1 pair round brown waxed cotton laces

When new, the leather may appear smooth and heavily waxed; with wear, the waxes will gradually recede, revealing the natural roughout texture beneath and developing unique character over time.

  • Minor color transfer or bleeding may occur when the leather is new or exposed to moisture, friction, heat, or perspiration. These are natural characteristics of heavily waxed leathers and are not considered defects.
