In honor of their legacy, the Gurkha Series by Craft and Glory brings you a modern interpretation of the iconic boots worn by these legendary warriors. Made using Goodyear Welt Construction, the Gurkha Combat Boot provides exceptional durability and comfort. Made from 100% full-grain buffalo leather,  the combat boot features a sturdy 6-inch shaft similar to the boots worn by these warriors during the conflicts waged in the 1940s.

For those who seek versatility and agility, the 6-inch Gurkha Combat Boot delivers the same rugged performance in a shorter, lighter profile. Its durable construction and unrelenting grip make it ideal for urban exploration and casual treks, offering comfort and mobility without compromising support and stability.

Key features include a veg-tan midsole for enhanced durability and a gusseted tongue for water and dust protection. Every pair takes over 15 hours to craft—embodying true craftsmanship.

 

Materials:

  • Leather: 5 0z (2mm) thick waxed pull-up full-grain buffalo leather upper.
  • Lining: 3 0z (1.4mm) thick leather lining.
  • Insole: 10 Oz (approx. 4mm) thick full vegetable tanned insole. 
  • Midsole: 10 Oz (approx. 4mm) thick full vegetable-tanned midsole.
  • Welt: 7 Oz (3mm) thick full vegetable-tanned handmade leather welt 
  • Steel shank for durability and strength.
  • 100% natural cork footbed for extra comfort.
  • Outsole: Unit Lug Commando outsole in 100% solid nitrile rubber for extra traction.

Sock Liner: 

  • Foam Topped with Genuine Leather: A2 mm thick cushioned EVA is topped with 1mm thick genuine leather lining
  • Vegetable Tanned Leather: A straight-cut 3-4 mm thick vegetable-tanned leather insert. No cushion, heavy-duty.

Laces:

  • Waxed Nylon dual tone round laces.

Super cool Gurkha boots in Saddle Tan

These Gurkhas in 6 inches shaft crafted in Saddle Tan leather are nothing short of pieces of art. They were comfortable straight out of the box and required no breaking in at all. The craftsmanship and the leather are top notch - especially the 4 line stitching and the leather with changing hues and loaded with amazing grains structure add to the quality of the boots. Lug soles look super sturdy and these boots seem to promise a lot of patina over the many years they will be used for. They come packed in a beautiful pine wood box and are accompanied by a super cute lapel pin khukris. Nice touch. Very aesthetic.

The CS team was diligent to accept and fulfill my lacing related request and the pair was shipped in a secured packaging to ensure safe delivery. Overall, a very high quality, professional experience of boot purchase. Strongly recommended!

Look wise, it's just the same as you see in the website. The feel, comfort is excellent. Craft and Glory has taken time and put in the skilled artisans to craft a perfect shoewear.

Only 3% of hides in the world are eligible to be graded as full grain leather which are suitable for natural aniline finish. Just like natural marble or real wood you are able to see natural grains, marks and texture unique to that very skin.
