In honor of their legacy, the Gurkha Series by Craft and Glory brings you a modern interpretation of the iconic boots worn by these legendary warriors. Made using Goodyear Welt Construction, the Gurkha Combat Boot provides exceptional durability and comfort. Crafted using 100% full-grain water-buffalo leather, these boots feature a sturdy 8-inch shaft, offering unmatched support and protection.

Key features include a veg-tan midsole for enhanced durability, and a gusseted tongue for water and dust protection, and a knife pocket. Every pair takes over 15 hours to craft—embodying true craftsmanship.

Materials:

Leather: 5 0z (2mm) thick oil-tanned full-grain buffalo leather upper.
Lining: 3 0z (1.4mm) thick leather lining.
Insole: 10 Oz (approx. 4mm) thick full vegetable tanned insole.
Midsole: 10 Oz (approx. 4mm) thick full vegetable-tanned midsole.
Welt: 7 Oz (3mm) thick full vegetable-tanned handmade leather welt
Steel Shank for durability and strength.
100% natural Cork footbed for extra comfort.
Outsole: Unit Lug Commando outsole in 100% solid nitrile rubber for extra traction.

Sock Liner:

Foam Topped with Genuine Leather: A2 mm thick cushioned EVA is topped with 1mm thick genuine leather lining
Vegetable Tanned Leather: A straight-cut 3-4 mm thick vegetable-tanned leather insert. No cushion, heavy-duty.

Laces:

Waxed Nylon dual tone round laces.

Beautiful boots!

The boots are beautiful. The colour is great; solid build; true to size fit right out of the box. Added the full veg tan insole which is very nice looking but does not stay in place or offer any support - changed it out and the boot is perfectly comfortable. I'd buy it again for sure! Beware, Canadians, the import / duties from DHL will add another 50% to your bill upon delivery. Invoiced for roughly $400; billed for another $200 when delivered to the door.
